Munurru Campground

Munurru Campground, on the banks of the King Edward River, far north Kimberley, is an ideal base for exploring Ngauwudu (Mitchell Plateau). Managed by Wunambal Gaambera Traditional Owners, it offers spacious, serene campsites set in true Kimberley bush. The iconic Punamii-Uunpuu (Mitchell Falls) is an easy day trip away, campfires are allowed and the river swimming is perfect all season. Wanjina-Gwion rock art tours with a Traditional Owner are a highlight – book at Munurru. Open May-October, no bookings required. Sorry, no pets.
